OUR STORY
The Pelorus Group was founded in 2022 by John Carson and Mike Eversole. John and Mike had spent nearly a decade working together before they each set out on their own to establish their own firms. They were quickly reminded that their skills still complimented each other and they were better together than independent. The Pelorus Group was born!
Our firm values "fair and ethical" above all else. These are words that are spoken constantly in our organization. We have found that our core values result in greater project success.
One of the most often asked questions is why we chose the name Pelorus. Well, a Pelorus is a navigational piece of equipment that allows the operator to set a bearing between two points allowing them to navigate successfully between them.
While a traditional compass identifies a direction like magnetic north, a Pelorus is just a guide to get between two places.
We see our role as the Owner’s Representative not pointing you in a fixed direction like a compass but rather guiding our clients from point to point, like a Pelorus, so that the project goals can be achieved efficiently and effectively.

CONSTRUCTABILITY REVIEWS
Review plans and specifications to identify areas of missed scope or the inability to successfully construct the project. This review will help reduce coordination errors and the potential for cost increases during construction.

CURRENT PROJECTS
Potamkin Automotive Group
The Pelorus Group has been retained to serve as the corporate owner’s representative for the design and renovation of multiple automobile dealerships and service centers. Projects are currently located in Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia, Texas and California.
Dreyer Consulting
The Pelorus Group currently serves as a sub-consultant to Dreyer Consulting and provides investigative support and evidence inspection in support of insurance claims and litigation requests. Representative assignments include: mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems evaluations, water infiltration and damage, fire cause and origin, and miscellaneous equipment failures.
East Penn Manufacturing
The Pelorus Group currently serves as a sub-consultant on numerous projects, including code consultation and the design of a new facility. Prior to the formation of The Pelorus Group, the principals enjoyed a long standing relationship with East Penn Manufacturing that resulted on the design of multiple industrial facilities that totaled approximately 2 million square feet.
